THE SAVANNAH
SIPPING SOCIETY

by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and
James Wooten
in association with Origin Theatrical
directed by Diane Watson

In this delightful, laugh-a-minute comedy, four unique Southern women, all needing to escape the sameness of their day-to-day routines, are drawn together by Fate—and an impromptu happy hour—and decide it’s high time to reclaim the enthusiasm for life they’ve lost through the years. Randa, a perfectionist; Dot, still reeling from her husband’s recent demise; earthy and boisterous Marlafaye, a good ol’ Texas gal; and new-to-town, Jinx, a spunky ball of fire.

Over the course of six months, filled with laughter, hilarious misadventures, and the occasional liquid refreshment, these middle-aged women successfully bond and find the confidence to jumpstart their new lives. Together, they discover lasting friendships and a renewed determination to live in the moment—and most importantly, realise it’s never too late to make new ‘old’ friends.

74 REDLAND GROVE

Book, Music and Lyrics by Mark Westby
directed by Chris O'Leary and Tammy Sarah Linde

Step into the heart of 1970s working-class Nottingham in this brand-new, original musical.

74 Redland Grove is a celebration and a moving exploration of the fragile, funny, and fierce connections that make a family.

Guided by our narrator, the audience is transported back to the chaos and colour of number 74 Redland Grove, where matriarch Marina Coningsby, her often-absent husband Jonathan, and their eight wildly different children live under one lively roof. The story unfolds through the eyes of their youngest, four-year-old Riffs, whose vivid imagination transforms the everyday into something magical.

Blending heartfelt memory with humour, 74 Redland Grove spins family dysfunction into a kaleidoscope of laughter, grief, and unforgettable 1970s themed music.

3 - 18 JULY

THE PINK PANTHER
STRIKES AGAIN

by William Gleeson based on the film by
Blake Edwards
in association with Origin Theatrical
directed by Lesley Davis Oliver

The comic essence of the marvellous film with all its verbal and visual humour has been captured here in an entirely practical play that is both easy and fun to stage.

The world's most unusual criminologist, Chief Inspector Jacques Clouseau, a role originally created by Peter Sellers, fights for his life and for the future of all mankind in the most bizarre and dangerous caper of his brilliantly successful and utterly clumsy career. Paul Dreyfus, once his long-suffering boss, now turned into a raving lunatic, holds the world at bay with the ultimate weapon, the Doomsday Machine. Dreyfus is out to get Clouseau, the man whose undeserved success has driven him crazy, and he threatens to vaporise continents if the nations of the world don't deliver Clouseau to him alive, or if possible, dead.

THE TRAIL TO
OREGON

Book - Jeff Blim, Nick Lang, Matt Lang
Additional Writing - Brian Holden
Music - Jeff Blim
Additional Music - Drew DeFour
in association with Star Kid Productions
directed by Tammy Sarah Linde

A comedic musical that parodies the classic educational video game, The Oregon Trail, the story follows a dysfunctional American family as they embark on a perilous journey westward in the 1840s, facing challenges such as starvation, illness, bandit attacks, and unpredictable weather.

Audience members choose the characters’ names, and make plot decisions along the way deepening the humour as each family member—Father, Mother, Daughter, Son, and Grandpa—struggles to survive and reach Oregon.

The musical combines slapstick comedy, catchy songs, and playful references to the source material, culminating in a wild and unpredictable finale where the fate of the family depends on the audience’s choices.
