In this hilarious female version of 'The Odd Couple', Olive Madison, like her original male counterpart, is divorced and living in cheerful chaos in her New York apartment. At Olive's invitation, the suicidal Florence Ungar, newly separated from her husband, moves in and is soon finding comfort in cooking, cleaning and fussing until Olive is almost reduced to a nervous wreck. It becomes clear that the patterns of their disastrous marriages are already re-occurring.

Horton Foote’s moving play tells the story of Carrie Watts, an elderly woman, who longs to escape the cramped Houston apartment where she lives with her protective son, Ludie, and her authoritarian daughter-in-law, Jessie Mae. Carrie wants to return to her beloved hometown of Bountiful, Texas, one final time before she dies. While Ludie is at work and Jessie Mae is at the drugstore, Carrie escapes to the bus station and befriends a young woman named Thelma. The new friends travel toward Bountiful together, but when Carrie arrives in nearby Harrison, Texas, she begins to learn that her beloved town isn’t the same as she remembered it.

As the pages turn and the chapters unfold, you will meet Red Riding Hood, The Big Bad Wolf, and The Evil Queen. They will be joined by the loveable Granny, Banter and his crazy antics, the heroic Woodcutter, and the self-absorbed Prince.
You will also be introduced to Snow White, the social media starlet who is looking for love, The sweet-talking but villainous Candy Witch, and the diabolical Muffin Man who returns to the village to shut down Granny’s newfound fame. You may also spot some characters from well-known nursery rhymes helping along the way.
Upbeat songs, a fast-paced script, colourful sets and costumes, all mix together to form a modern style pantomime.
